Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Shipping Department Operates a forklift to load and/or unload trailers while using the warehouse management systems and specific procedures for tracking and food safety Loads finished goods in trailers by hand Uses Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) to operate automated equipment Required Qualifications Steel Toed safety shoes first day on the job Current McKee Foods Lift Truck License or obtain license within department guidelines Scissor Lift license or obtain license within department guidelines Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Basic computer skills Basic math skills Must be able to work in a high pace warehouse environment Exercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products Maintains good attendance as defined by company and/or department policy Demonstrates workplace behavior that is consistent with company policies and values Ability to work in a team environment Performs daily and departmental cleaning as required Completes paperwork legibly and accurately Documents and reports load condition Inspects and documents trailers being loaded or unloaded for damage and food safety violations Ability to use a forklift to load or unload, store and relocate product or ingredients Communicates job information to accomplish work tasks (verbal and written) Problem solving skills and ability to apply good judgment in situations Practices good personal hygiene and maintains a clean work area Preferred Qualifications Previous warehousing experience Previous forklift operator experience Yard Tractor Operator License Experience with Label Printing System (LPS) Experience with Dispatcher (WMS) Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) Demonstrate knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Benefits Competitive weekly pay Profit-sharing cash bonus program 401(k) with matching contributions Paid Time Off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) Medical insurance, including health, dental, vision and prescription drug plan Supplemental plans, including life insurance Fully-paid parental leave Health Center and Pharmacy Mental wellness counseling (on-site in TN, virtual elsewhere) Tuition reimbursement Credit Union Exercise and recreation facility Wellness programs with incentives Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Short-term and long-term disability (company-paid) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
