Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable Material Handlers / Production Support Associates for a manufacturing facility in Heber Springs, AR. This position offers a four-day workweek and is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in an industrial environment. Employees will support production operations by moving materials, preparing parts for processing, and assisting multiple departments.

Training Schedule:

Training will be conducted on 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, for approximately 2-3 weeks before transitioning to the regular schedule.

Requirements for the Material HandlerHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or material handling experience is helpfulAbility to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes or willingness to learnStrong attention to safety and detailAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsDependable attendance and a positive work ethicAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials safely throughout the shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMaterial Handler ResponsibilitiesLoad carts and tables with various parts to prepare materials for the paint and blast departmentsOperate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the facilityFollow safe lifting practices when handling parts and materialsUnload carts and tables onto cardboard-lined pallets for shipping, storage, or further processingPrepare vessels and parts for the Paint Department by vacuuming, masking, and completing other preparation tasks using shop vacs, masking tape, paper, and related materialsMove and stage vessels for assembly operations using forklifts and overhead cranesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company safety policies and proceduresAssist with additional production and material handling duties as assignedWhy You'll Like This Job4-day workweek with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays offConsistent full-time hoursOpportunity to develop forklift and overhead crane skillsTemp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturerApply online or contact Penmac Staffing - Conway for more information.
