Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Donation Sorter to join their team in Hot Springs, AR. As a staffing agency, we are recruiting reliable candidates who enjoy staying active and working in a team-oriented environment. The Donation Sorter plays an important role in receiving, organizing, and preparing donated items for resale while helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient operation.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable performing physical work throughout the day. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact by helping process donations that directly support the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and unload donated goods from donors in a safe and efficient manner.
Sort, inspect, clean, and prepare donated items for resale.
Organize merchandise according to company quality standards and product categories.
Load and unload donations, furniture, and merchandise as needed.
Move inventory throughout the store and warehouse to maintain an organized workflow.
Help keep the sales floor, warehouse, and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service to donors and shoppers.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Assist with additional duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, retail, or donation center experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, donors, and customers.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to load, unload, and move donated merchandise and furniture.
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors while receiving donations.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
