• Job Title: Packaging Line Worker
• Job Description
• The Packaging Line Worker operates in the tube mill area, supporting production by preparing and packaging pipes for shipment, handling dies and materials, and assisting with general cleanup and other tasks as needed to keep the manufacturing line running smoothly.
• Responsibilities
• + Bundle pipes according to production and shipping specifications.

+ Remove dies from machines safely and efficiently as part of the production process.

+ Load dies into equipment and prepare them for operation.

+ Wash and clean dies to ensure they are ready for reuse and maintain production quality.

+ Make and apply bands for piping to secure products for shipping.

+ Operate strapping machines and band tubes for shipping in accordance with company procedures.

+ Perform general labor tasks, including material handling and basic machine operation.

+ Assist with cleanup in the tube mill and surrounding work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.

+ Handle materials using forklifts or other approved methods, when required and if qualified.

+ Lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the shift.

+ Stand on feet for the entire shift while performing production and packaging tasks.

+ Carry out any additional duties assigned to support production and packaging operations.

• Essential Skills
• + At least 6 months of production or manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly during the shift.

+ Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift in a production environment.

+ Willingness to learn new tasks and follow established processes.

+ Experience in manufacturing and production settings.

+ Ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks.

+ Basic machine operation skills.

+ Ability to safely operate or work around strapping machines.

+ Capability to band tubes and piping for shipping.

+ Forklift experience for material handling (if required for the role).

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with banding and strapping in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. + Familiarity with using strapping machines for securing products. + Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting. + Attention to detail when bundling and preparing products for shipment. + Reliability and strong work ethic in a hands-on, physical role.

• Work Environment
• The role is based in a covered production environment within a tube mill.

While the area is sheltered, there is no climate control, so the temperature and conditions inside closely mirror the weather outside. Work is performed on your feet for the entire shift and involves frequent lifting of 50 pounds or more, as well as operating or working near manufacturing equipment and strapping machines. The environment is typical of a busy manufacturing facility, with active production lines, material handling activities, and a focus on safety and cleanliness.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $21.

00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
