• Job Title: Warehouse Worker
• Job Description
• This role involves working primarily in a cold storage freezer environment to support warehouse operations by unloading trucks, sorting and palletizing products, and accurately pulling and preparing orders.

You will handle materials manually, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and contribute to a clean and organized warehouse while working independently and staying focused in a fast-paced setting.

• Responsibilities
• + Work in a freezer environment for the majority of the shift while wearing provided cold suits and personal protective equipment.

+ Unload trucks by hand and sort products according to designated locations.

+ Palletize products for movement by forklift and apply shrink-wrap as needed to secure loads.

+ Pull orders based on order sheets and cross-reference items for accuracy, quality, and completeness.

+ Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including picking, packing, and staging orders.

+ Use pallet jacks and other material handling tools to move products safely and efficiently.

+ Support inventory activities by organizing and maintaining stock in both freezer and dry storage areas.

+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform general cleaning tasks as required.

+ Follow all safety procedures and quality standards while working in cold storage and dry storage environments.

+ Work independently, manage tasks with minimal supervision, and stay organized and focused throughout the shift.

+ Be available and willing to work overtime when business needs require it.

• Essential Skills
• + Experience working in a warehouse environment with responsibilities such as order selecting and loading materials.

+ Ability to work in a cold storage or freezer room environment for long periods of time.

+ Material handling skills, including order selecting, sorting, picking, and packing.

+ Experience with pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment.

+ Strong attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy and product quality.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.

+ Willingness to perform general labor tasks, including cleaning and organizing.

+ Capability to work independently without constant supervision.

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

+ Possession of personal safety shoes or safety boots.

• Work Environment
• The primary work area is a freezer maintained at approximately -5 degrees, where cold suits and personal protective equipment are provided for use while in the cold storage area.

The warehouse also includes dry storage space that does not have air conditioning or heat, which can result in varying temperatures depending on the season. The facility is relatively small, and some areas can feel cramped, requiring awareness and care when moving materials and equipment. Team members are expected to wear their own safety shoes or safety boots and to work largely independently, taking ownership of their tasks without needing close supervision.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $19.

00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
