Hourly Wage + Commission Opportunities (Based on Experience) We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined person to join our team as a Warehouse & Equipment Service Technician . You do not need experience working on spray foam or roof coating equipment. We are willing to train the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone who is already a strong warehouse, shop, construction, or mechanically inclined employee and wants to develop a skilled trade. It may also be a good fit for an entry-level mechanic who wants to learn specialized equipment and grow into a higher-level service technician. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can figure things out, keeps their workspace organized, and wants to build a long-term career. What You'll Do You will start by assisting with warehouse, shop, and equipment service responsibilities while receiving hands-on training in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of specialized roofing and spray foam equipment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Receive, organize, pull, and prepare equipment, parts, and customer orders.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse and service area.
- Inspect, clean, service, and prepare equipment for customers.
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
- Learn to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper and safe operation.
- Assist with equipment installations, setups, and mobile service calls.
- Document repairs, parts used, and equipment condition.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment and repairs.
- Learn the operation, maintenance, and repair of: Single-component spray systems Plural-component spray foam and coating system Air compressors Generators Pumps, hoses, spray guns, and related components Roofing and spray foam equipment Other tools and accessories used in the roofing and coatings industry As your mechanical knowledge and experience grow, the position can develop into a more independent Equipment Service Technician/Mechanic role with increased responsibility and earning potential.
Who We're Looking For We're more interested in ability, work ethic, and mechanical aptitude than a specific résumé. A strong candidate may have experience in a warehouse, mechanic shop, construction, equipment rental, roofing, manufacturing, automotive, landscaping, or another hands-on environment.
You should be someone who:
- Is mechanically inclined and enjoys figuring out how things work.
- Is comfortable working with tools and learning new equipment.
- Can troubleshoot problems instead of immediately needing someone else to solve them.
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work.
- Takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows them through to completion.
- Keeps tools, parts, equipment, and work areas organized.
- Can work independently once trained.
- Is comfortable working both in a warehouse/shop and in the field.
- Can lift 50+ pounds.
- Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communicates well with coworkers and customers.
Previous mechanic experience is a plus, but it is not required. Experience with small engines, pumps, compressors, generators, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, automotive repair, or industrial equipment is especially valuable. What We Can Teach You We will provide hands-on training in specialized roofing, spray foam, and coating equipment. For the right employee, we can teach the technical side. We're looking for someone who already brings the work ethic, dependability, mechanical curiosity, and willingness to learn. Compensation & Opportunity
