Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reach Lift Operator for a 1st shift position at a busy warehouse. This role requires proficiency in operating a reach lift to safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse, including elevated locations up to the 3rd level. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at heights and have a strong commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Operate a reach lift in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company and OSHA safety guidelines. Utilize the reach lift to retrieve and store materials in designated warehouse locations, including high-bay racking systems up to the 3rd level. Perform pre-shift inspections of the reach lift to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues. Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles. Accurately scan and record inventory movements using RF scanners or other inventory management systems. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking, packing, and labeling.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a reach lift in a warehouse environment. Comfortable working at heights and able to maintain composure while operating the reach lift at elevated locations. Valid reach lift certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
