Job Description

Volt is immediately hiring for a Cherry Lift Operators in Colton, CA. As a Cherry Lift Operator, you will: Job Description Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operates Raymond or Crown Cherry forklift / Order Picker in and around warehouse Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC's Moves product from Inbound Bins into the racks according product type and dimension Relocates product from end caps and service area into racks Efficiently pick customer orders Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location Positions product on racking system Carry or transports orders to the dock with material handling equipment Able to operate radio frequency equipment Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled Inspects the equipment Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor Meet company standards for productivity This is a full time weekend opportunity. 5 days a week. 8 hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered. 1-2 years of experience operating a Cherry Picker Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Proven experience with order picking and inventory selection processes. Ability to safely operate a Cherry Picker and other material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience working in a furniture warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment. Experience handling bulky, oversized, or high-value furniture products. Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices. Experience operating additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks.

1st shift Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm Tues-Sat 7am-3:30pm Fri-Tue 7am-3:30pm Sat -Wed 7am-3:30pm Sun-Thurs 7am-3:30pm 2nd shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm Tues-Sat 3pm-11:30pm Fri-Tue 3pm-11:30pm Sun-Thurs 3pm-11:30pm

Pay Rate :

$23.00 per hour
