Responsibilities Safely load and unload freight using various equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements accurately Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks to move goods throughout the warehouse efficiently Assist with order picking using pickers and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stacking pallets, securing loads, and adhering to OSHA safety standards Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate the movement of materials and optimize workflow Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments Proficiency with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, clamp trucks, crane operation, and pallet jacks Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and safety protocols (OSHA compliance) Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking technology Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and inventory control methods Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their expertise in warehouse logistics while contributing to a high-energy team environment.
