Job Description
A growing apparel brand is seeking a Global Raw Materials Coordinator to support the daily operations of seasonal raw material development. This is a great opportunity for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in product development, fabric coordination, or raw materials support within the apparel industry. This role will be instrumental in keeping fabric development, sample yardage, and internal tracking systems organized and moving efficiently across key seasonal milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Manage proto and SMS sample yardage requests from mills, tracking incoming submits and confirming deliveries
- Ensure sample availability aligns with development calendar milestones and internal deadlines
- Own and maintain the seasonal fabric library and bulk reference archive, ensuring all materials are accurately labeled, organized, and accessible
- Maintain PLM updates, seasonal trackers, approval logs, and internal documentation
- Communicate updates regarding fabric arrivals, approvals, and upcoming material needs to internal teams
- Support vendor visit preparation, fabric fair sample coordination, and milestone meeting setup
- Maintain accurate records of sample activity, retention, and internal organization
Qualifications:
- Experience in raw materials, product development, sourcing coordination, textile development, or sample management within apparel
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- PLM experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and experience managing tracking systems, sample archives, and internal documentation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Ideal backgrounds include raw materials coordination, textile development, sourcing support, product development, or apparel production coordination.
