Job Overview We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team in a fast-paced produce warehouse environment in Commerce, CA. This role is responsible for accurately picking customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and efficient product movement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in refrigerated and cold storage conditions. Schedule Average schedule is Monday-Friday, approximately 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Shift start and end times may vary based on business needs and order volume Schedules can range from 4:00 AM - 3:30 PM or until all orders are filled Overtime available and expected as needed Alternating Saturdays required Responsibilities Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment Stage orders for delivery and distribution Safely load and unload trucks Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damages Organize inventory and maintain clean warehouse storage areas Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company protocols Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse Work in refrigerated and cold warehouse environments Support overtime and alternating Saturday schedules as needed Qualifications Previous experience handling fresh produce is required. Previous experience working in a refrigerated or cold storage warehouse is required. Electric pallet jack experience is required. Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, order selecting, or produce distribution experience is preferred. Forklift experience and/or certification is a plus. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to work in refrigerated and cold storage environments for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment Fast-paced produce warehouse setting Refrigerated and cold storage conditions Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling Use of warehouse machinery and equipment as needed Physical Requirements Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Push and pull loaded pallets. Stand and walk for 8-12 hours. Frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, and reach. Use hands continuously for gripping, lifting, and handling produce. Climb ladders occasionally. Work around moving equipment. Working Conditions Refrigerated environment (approximately 34°F-40°F). Wet and slippery floors. Frequent exposure to temperature changes. Exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and moving equipment. Fast-paced warehouse environment. Weekend, holiday, and overtime work as needed.
