About the Position Square Level Plumb is looking for a dependable, organized Construction Laborer / Material Runner to support our crews and keep projects moving. This role includes driving a truck and trailer, picking up and delivering materials, removing debris, organizing jobsites, and assisting with basic construction and demolition tasks. The ideal candidate has some prior hands-on construction experience, works efficiently, communicates clearly, and brings a positive attitude. You should be willing to learn new tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and help wherever needed. Responsibilities Safely drive and maneuver a truck and trailer to transport materials, equipment, and jobsite debris. Pick up construction materials and verify purchases against provided lists. Deliver supplies to jobsites and keep the team informed of progress or delays. Load and unload materials using safe lifting practices and appropriate assistance or equipment. Remove debris and maintain clean, neat, and organized jobsites. Organize materials, tools, and supplies so crews can work efficiently. Assist with demolition, jobsite preparation, and basic construction tasks as directed. Keep purchase receipts organized and turn them in promptly. Accurately record required purchase information and daily work details on time cards. Provide updates throughout the day by text and phone when safely parked or otherwise safe to do so. Adapt to changing priorities and support the team as needs arise. Qualifications Some prior hands-on construction experience is required , such as construction labor, demolition, remodeling, or assisting a skilled tradesperson. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to safely drive and maneuver a truck and trailer, including backing up. Basic familiarity with construction tools, materials, and jobsite safety. Ability to follow instructions, learn new tasks, and build on existing skills. Ability to work at a brisk, efficient pace while maintaining safety and attention to detail. Ability to handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds using safe lifting practices and appropriate assistance or equipment. Strong communication skills and willingness to provide regular updates. Good organizational habits, including accurate receipt and time-card documentation. Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and willingness to take on varied tasks.
