We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate & Driver to support our fulfillment and operations team during our busy season. This is a hands-on position for someone who likes variety, works efficiently, takes pride in getting things done correctly, and is comfortable shifting between driving, warehouse fulfillment, inventory support, and general facility responsibilities. Our operation is fast-paced and requires team members who are organized, flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep orders, inventory and warehouse operations moving smoothly. What You'll Do Responsibilities will include: Deliver customer and wholesale orders throughout Southern California. Pick up packaging, ingredients, supplies and other materials from vendors and suppliers, with some trips of up to approximately 165 miles each way . Safely operate company vehicles, including Sprinter van and box truck that may be up to approximately 26 feet in length and under 26,000 lbs. GVWR . Load and unload products, packaging and other materials. Safely operate electric pallet jacks and sit down forklift. Assist the primary fulfillment and operations team with daily order fulfillment as needed. Assist with receiving incoming inventory and supplies. Help organize, rotate, count and maintain finished-goods and packaging inventory. Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping and preparing larger orders for shipment. Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as required. Help maintain an organized, efficient warehouse and cooler. Perform routine facility cleaning and general maintenance. Support other warehouse and fulfillment activities as needed during periods of high order volume. What We're Looking For This role is a good fit for someone who is: Dependable and punctual. Professional and courteous when interacting with customers, vendors and suppliers. Driving & Equipment Requirements Candidates must: Possess a current, valid driver's license. Have a safe and acceptable driving record and authorize Rancho Meladuco to obtain and review a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as a condition of employment. Be comfortable driving throughout Southern California, including longer-distance pickup and delivery routes. Be comfortable operating Class C company vehicles, including larger vans and box trucks. Follow all company vehicle, safety and distracted-driving policies. Have current or prior forklift certification, license or documented forklift training , or equivalent prior experience operating a forklift safely. Be willing to complete any company-required forklift refresher or safety training. Physical Requirements The position requires regular warehouse activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, loading and unloading vehicles, and working around palletized inventory.

Regularly lift, carry and move boxes and materials weighing up to 50 pounds . Load and unload vehicles safely. Perform repetitive warehouse and fulfillment tasks. Safely perform the physical functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Schedule & Position Term This is a temporary seasonal position expected to run through approximately March . Hours may range from part-time to full-time depending on business and delivery needs , with the possibility of continued or permanent full-time employment for an outstanding employee as the company grows. Because our business is seasonal, candidates should be comfortable with varying workloads and occasional changes in schedule during particularly busy periods.
