Job Overview Join our vibrant HBR team as Dockhand or Captain or Both , where your energetic spirit and dedication will keep our waterfront Boat rentals and club operations running smoothly and safely. In this vital role, you'll assist with vessel docking and mooring, maintain , and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our rental fleet in between rentals. Your proactive approach will enhance the experience for boaters and visitors alike, fostering a secure and welcoming environment on the water. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop maritime skills while contributing to a lively maritime community. Duties Assist with vessel docking, mooring, and unmooring to ensure safe and efficient boat handling , customer service is A MUST Clean boats in between rentals and club usage Perform routine maintenance on boats, watercraft, and marina equipment to ensure optimal functionality Conduct cleaning of Dock facilities, docks, and boats to maintain a pristine environment Support rigging tasks for boats and equipment, ensuring proper setup for safe operation Follow maritime safety procedures diligently during all activities to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Swimming proficiency required for safety in water-related tasks Prior experience with boat handling or vessel docking is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge or experience with watercraft maintenance is advantageous Knowledge of maritime safety procedures and safe lifting practices is essential

Pay:
$17.00 - $50.00 per hour
