Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialized flooring and surface preparation products, is looking for a Production Operator to join their team in Downey, CA. . In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on operation of processing equipment, material staging, and product packaging while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate processing and mixing equipment while monitoring computerized control screens to ensure steady production rates. Move and stage raw materials and package finished products for distribution. Follow all safety rules and work instructions, including the proper use of PPE and lockout/tag-out procedures. Load mixers properly and use digital scales to measure materials in both metric and U.S. standard units. Maintain accurate documentation, including batch tickets, partial bag records, and production data entry. Perform general housekeeping to keep the plant and work area clean and safe. Promptly monitor and report equipment warning lights or operational issues to supervisors. Communicate effectively via plant radios and intercom systems to coordinate with team members.

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.

Skills:

Good basic math, reading, and organizational skills; ability to perform accurate data entry.

Experience:

No prior experience is required; this is an entry-level role with comprehensive training provided.

Physical Ability:

Regularly lift and/or move containers weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally move up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Mobility:

Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, stoop, and bend from the waist frequently.

Aptitude:

Willingness to learn forklift operation and formal equipment startup/shutdown procedures.

Reliability:

Must be able to work mandatory overtime as required by production needs.

$21.50 per hour

Workdays:

Monday - Thursday (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)

Hours:
