WeldTec Designs was founded more than 20 years ago with a passion for building high-quality products and getting outdoors. Today, WTD is a growing American manufacturer specializing in performance suspension systems, wheels, and vehicle accessories for vans, trucks, RVs, DIY builders, and overland enthusiasts. This position is ideal for someone who likes staying busy, working with their hands, keeping things organized, and being part of a growing manufacturing company. Job Responsibilities Receive and process incoming shipments Verify incoming products, quantities, and purchase orders Enter received inventory into the company computer system Perform basic quality-control inspections on incoming products Separate backordered materials and place inventory in proper warehouse locations Organize, relocate, and consolidate warehouse inventory as needed Pick and pull customer orders accurately Pack, weigh, and label products for shipment Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documentation Enter shipment information including addresses, quantities, dimensions, and weights Maintain accurate shipping and order records Update order and shipment information within the company system Communicate shipping and order-status information with the sales/customer service team Report shortages, damaged products, over-shipments, substitutions, and other discrepancies to management Assemble small parts, hardware kits, and components for inventory and customer orders Assist with loading and unloading trucks Assist with forklift operations as trained Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, shipping area, and loading/parking area Help ensure products are packaged and handled to WTD quality standards File and maintain packing slips and shipment documentation Assist other departments when needed Perform additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned Qualifications Dependable with a strong work ethic Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines Basic computer skills Comfortable learning inventory, shipping, and order-management software Experience with Microsoft Office or similar programs QuickBooks experience is a plus, but we will train Shipping, receiving, warehouse, automotive, or manufacturing experience is a plus Basic understanding of UPS, FedEx, USPS, and truck freight is a plus Mechanically inclined candidates are strongly encouraged to apply Forklift certification is preferred but we will train the right candidate Must be able to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving products throughout the workday Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation Pay $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount On-the-job training Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding American manufacturing company Who We're Looking For We aren't looking for someone who just wants to clock in and stand around.
