Job Overview:
As a General Laborer at AtticShield, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of insulation and air ducts, as well as performing cleaning, sanitizing, and rodent proofing services in attics and crawlspaces. You will work closely with a team of experienced technicians to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. No prior experience is required, as we provide on-the-job training to help you develop the necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicles safely to and from job sites, the warehouse, and other work-related locations as assigned. Assist in the removal and replacement of insulation materials in attics and crawlspaces. Support the air duct repair and replacement process. Help with the cleaning and sanitizing of attics and crawlspaces. Aid in sealing air leaks and ensuring spaces are properly insulated for energy efficiency. Perform rodent proofing tasks, including the installation of barriers and seals to prevent rodent entry. Safely handle tools and materials, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of equipment. Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
Qualifications:
Previous general labor or construction experience is preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Must be eligible to operate company vehicles under the requirements of the company's commercial auto insurance policy. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable with physical labor and working in varying conditions.
