Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Material Handler for a Contract/Temporary opportunity in Garden Grove, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse or manufacturing professional who enjoys organized, fast-paced work involving shipping, receiving, inventory control, packaging, and production support. The Material Handler will support daily stockroom and warehouse operations by receiving production orders, stocking materials, packaging plastic parts, and preparing customer shipments in a bar coded environment. This opportunity offers a structured work setting, teamwork-focused operations, and the chance to contribute directly to accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipping. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and organize production orders within the parts stockroom.
- Package plastic parts according to customer and shipment specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment using bar code-based inventory and tracking processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory control practices and support stockroom organization.
- Verify materials, packaging, and shipment details for accuracy and quality.
- Follow warehouse, safety, and handling procedures to support efficient daily operations. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$20 per hour.- Job type: 3 months Contract with possible extension
Shift:
Monday to Friday (9 AM to 5:30 PM)- Job type: Contract/Temporary. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Receive and stock production orders in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
- Package plastic parts and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Support inventory control processes using bar coded systems.
- Maintain shipping, receiving, and stockroom accuracy.
- 3-5 years of relevant material handling, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
- Ability to work accurately in a bar coded inventory environment.
- Strong attention to detail when packaging parts and preparing shipments.
- Ability to follow customer packaging specifications and internal procedures.
- Reliable work habits, good organization, and a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to support physical warehouse duties, including handling, moving, stocking, and packaging materials. Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working with plastic parts, production orders, or stockroom inventory.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, order staging, and customer-specific packaging requirements.
