Duties Safely operate various warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods efficiently. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment. Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery or storage while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. Load and unload trucks promptly using appropriate heavy equipment while following OSHA safety protocols and PPE use guidelines. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves systematically and ensuring proper placement of materials for easy retrieval. Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation, completing necessary logs, and ensuring proper packaging. Conduct routine safety checks on equipment like reach trucks, cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety regulations. Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as, pallet jacks, other heavy machinery. Prior warehouse distribution or logistics experience. Hands-on experience in warehouse operations including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards and proper PPE use during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Experience working under the supervision of a warehouse manager or supervisor with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Technical proficiency in operating material handling equipment safely while maintaining high standards of accuracy in inventory management tasks.
