Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various industrial machinery, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring the smooth flow of production processes. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Operate a variety of machinery including CNC machines, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and other industrial equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, production documents, and mechanical blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure quality control. Handle materials safely using forklifts and hand tools; manage inventory by moving raw materials and finished products efficiently within the facility. Troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Follow shop math principles and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise machining tasks. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is highly desirable. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, and CNC programming enhances your ability to optimize machine performance. Hands-on experience with fabrication processes including stamping, machining, assembly line work, tooling setup, and materials handling is preferred. Knowledge of factory safety standards in production environments combined with experience interpreting technical drawings is essential. Prior work in manufacturing facilities or industrial settings demonstrating proficiency in shop math, quality control procedures, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers or calipers will set you apart. Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively while adhering to safety guidelines is critical for success in this role.
