Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our winery operations team. This position is responsible for supporting the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of case goods and winery materials while maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of duties including receiving and storing inventory, picking and staging orders, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, conducting inventory counts, and assisting with shipping and fulfillment activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining product quality and workplace safety. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to lift and move heavy materials, and a team-oriented attitude to support daily winery operations and ensure timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Pick orders Receive orders Maintain accurate inventory of stored goods Maintain organization of goods within the warehouse Maintain safety in the warehouse Stacked pallets must be stable Forklift safely around stored goods and personnel Verify case counts when fulfilling or receiving product orders Use basic math and organization skills daily Report dropped or damaged product immediately Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming inventory. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Keep warehouse, production, and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Communicate what orders are picked, shipped out, and received with the Winery Manager. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with distribution companies and winery clients. Qualifications Forklift certification heavily preferred 2+ years of forklift experience required Prior warehouse experience is a plus — but not required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude Basic computer skills (google sheets or excel) Basic understanding of inventory control. Fluency in English Strong communication skills Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50lbs
