Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Lead Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead our distribution team with energy and precision. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead a team of warehouse associates by providing clear direction, motivating performance, and managing workflow efficiently. Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe movement of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; conduct regular cycle counts and audits. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and optimize warehouse layout and workflows in line with lean management principles. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving, including scheduling carriers, preparing shipments, and verifying inbound/outbound deliveries. Collaborate with management on warehouse distribution strategies, process enhancements, and operational planning to meet business goals. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse operations, distribution center activities, or similar logistics environments. Proficiency in inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams in fast-paced settings; excellent managerial communication skills. Skilled in operating heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred but not required. Knowledge of materials handling equipment operation, shipping & receiving procedures, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to implement process improvements using lean management techniques to streamline workflows. Effective inventory management skills including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes. Familiarity with logistics coordination, distribution center operations, and OSH compliance requirements.

Pay:

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
