In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, loading, and unloading of materials within our yard. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, warehouse distribution, and safety protocols will ensure smooth operations and a safe environment for everyone. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and RF scanners while contributing to the seamless flow of goods in a fast-paced setting. Duties Load and unload materials using heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to ensure timely processing of shipments Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and track inventory items Safely handle materials through proper lifting techniques and mechanical knowledge to prevent injuries and damage Assist with order picking processes, including picker tasks, to fulfill customer orders efficiently Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Maintain a clean, organized yard environment by performing routine inspections and adhering to OSHA safety standards Support warehouse supervisors in coordinating logistics activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments with familiarity in warehouse management systems Valid certification for heavy equipment operation such as forklift license or crane certification is highly preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of OSHA safety standards for warehouse operations Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and inventory control practices Prior warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus Join us as a Yard Worker where your skills will keep our operations moving forward!
