Summary Looking for a role where your attention to detail and coordination skills make a direct impact? As a Material Handler II , you'll play a key role in keeping products moving efficiently and ensuring customers receive what they need on time. You'll coordinate shipments, maintain accurate shipping records, and partner with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to support smooth day-to-day operations. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor outbound shipments to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Partner with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient shipping operations. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork. Troubleshoot shipment issues such as delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies. Help drive shipping accuracy and operational excellence through proactive communication and follow-up. Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and material movement. Experience using shipping software, warehouse systems, and related tools. A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through. A collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships across teams. A passion for supporting operational success and delivering great service. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. Ability to operate warehouse equipment and use computer systems for inventory transactions and reporting. Travel Requirements No regular travel required. Occasional travel between local facilities may be required based on business needs. Compensation and Benefits The base pay for this position is starting at $18.35 per year depending on the geographic market. Novanta supports all aspects of your life's needs.
