Company:
SIP Manufacturing opened its doors in 2018 as a small 2 line beverage manufacturing facility in Lake Elsinore, CA producing only 2-5 pallets of product per day. Since then, we have grown to producing over 10 truckloads of product per day with multiple lines and a diversified customer base. You can purchase our product throughout the United States and we are excited to continue our growth and expansion in the industry.
About the role:
The Forklift Driver/Warehouse role spends the majority of their time on the forklift, moving product around internally to be prepared for production. This role requires you to be vigilant about product and staging for the different lines, and to communicate effectively across multiple business lines to ensure accuracy in the work performed. Safety is a key component of this role as well in our facility and is imperative to successfully completing the job.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Coordinate with shipping/receiving coordinator and/or Management team for all shipping/receiving Review finished goods inventory on the floor. Keep packaging material staged and ready, as needed on production floor Inform Shipping Coordinator and QC team of any issues regarding raw ingredients/packing material, where applicable. Demonstrate understanding of internal tools and communication to ensure 100% accuracy in shipping and product movement Complete shipping/receiving form and report any issue to Shipping/Receiving coordinator May act as a mentor to others on the team Other duties as requested Competencies/SuccessFactors for the role Demonstrating Safety Maximizes efficiency Detail oriented Collaborates Instills trust Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent Current certification in forklift driving and safety Ability to become and remain forklift certified immediately Proven ability to work safely in a production setting GMP training completed Requirements Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs Must be able to operate machinery and lift, bend, stoop and reach Must operate in a safe manner at all times Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time Must be able to communicate effectively with others Must demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
