This is a hands-on position involving furniture receiving, unloading, assembly, movement, staging, organization, and general warehouse operations. We are looking for team members who work safely, learn quickly, follow instructions, take care of merchandise, and maintain a consistent and productive work pace. Previous furniture experience is helpful, but not required. Candidates with experience in warehouse operations, moving, delivery, construction, installation, assembly, or other hands-on work are encouraged to apply. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and qualifications. Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, cartons, and merchandise from trucks and containers. Unbox, inspect, assemble, and prepare furniture for showroom display, delivery, or customer pickup. Assemble furniture using hand tools and power tools. Move, stage, organize, and position furniture throughout the warehouse and showroom. Handle furniture carefully to help prevent product and property damage. Inspect merchandise and report visible damage, missing parts, or other issues to management. Maintain clean and organized receiving, staging, assembly, warehouse, and work areas. Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Use pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized. Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Work independently and as part of a team. Follow daily work assignments, priorities, and instructions from supervisors and management. Assist with other furniture-handling, warehouse, assembly, and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Able to follow instructions and adapt to different tasks. Comfortable performing physically active work throughout the workday. Able to maintain a consistent and productive work pace. Good attention to detail when assembling and handling furniture. Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools, or willing and able to learn. Able to work effectively both independently and with a team. Warehouse, furniture assembly, moving, delivery, installation, construction, or similar hands-on experience is preferred but not required. Furniture industry experience is a plus. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position that regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including frequently lifting and moving items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds . Larger or heavier furniture may require team lifting or the use of appropriate material-handling equipment. Compensation Starting pay is based on the candidate's relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and qualifications.

Entry / Trainee

Level — $20-$21/hour Suitable for candidates with limited directly related experience who demonstrate reliability, work ethic, willingness to learn, and basic hands-on ability. Developing Associate — $22-$23/hour Suitable for candidates with relevant warehouse, moving, construction, installation, assembly, delivery, or similar hands-on experience. Experienced Associate — $24-$25/hour Suitable for candidates with stronger directly relevant experience who can demonstrate independent productivity, furniture handling, assembly skills, tool use, and other job-related abilities. Employees may have opportunities to advance to higher responsibility and compensation levels based on demonstrated skills, productivity, quality, reliability, safety, and overall job performance. Schedule This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position . Typical schedules are approximately 30-40 hours per week , depending on business and operational needs. Actual schedules and hours may vary. Availability for occasional weekends or schedule adjustments based on business needs may be required.
