Role:
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Materials Handler II to join our client's site in Menlo Park, CA. This role will support production operations by ensuring accurate, timely flow of materials according to the build schedule.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Kitting materials to production work orders based on the build schedule. Issuing production materials to kanban locations. Managing and maintaining assigned materials. Participating in and completing monthly cycle counts. Performing SAP transactions to accurately reflect material status. Lifting and handling packages up to 50 lbs. Participating in training new team members. Applying judgment, initiative, and creativity to troubleshoot material-related issues. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Prioritizing daily tasks to meet material and kanban demands. Solving a wide range of complex problems with minimal guidance. Accurately counting and reconciling quantities. Understanding organizational structure and key contacts within the facility. Working in a cleanroom environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3+ years of experience in materials handling within a manufacturing environment. Strong planning and organizational skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Accuracy in counting and reconciling materials. Ability to perform SAP transactions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical device experience. Cleanroom experience. Computer experience. SAP experience is a plus. Medical device experience is a plus. About
