Modesto, CA Job Details Full-time $19 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Forklift High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Materials handling Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipment preparation, and assembly work (cabinet assembly). This role is essential in ensuring efficient, organized, and safe warehouse operations to support overall business needs. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage to prevent loss or damage Order Fulfillment & Logistics Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries Cabinet Assembly Assemble cabinets and related components according to work instructions or specifications Ensure finished products meet quality standards before packaging or shipment Identify and report any defects or issues during assembly process Maintain a clean and organized assembly workspace Warehouse Organization & Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow standard operating procedures for storage, handling, and equipment use Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of warehouse tools and equipment Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and workplace regulations Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment if certified Report safety hazards, damages, or inventory discrepancies promptly Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1-3 years of warehouse or related experience preferred Experience in cabinet assembly, woodworking, or similar hands-on work preferred Basic knowledge of inventory systems and computer skills Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly) Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform assembly tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Physical stamina for warehouse work (standing, walking, lifting)
