Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our logistics and distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory stocking, and shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a safety-conscious mindset, and experience working in fast-paced warehouse environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless warehouse distribution processes and support the overall supply chain operations. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. Stock shelves efficiently while maintaining organized storage areas to facilitate quick order picking. Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members to optimize workflow and minimize delays. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with the team on order fulfillment processes using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for efficient planning. Perform basic math calculations for inventory adjustments, packaging requirements, and order quantities. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and MRP software. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory management tasks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Physical ability to lift heavy objects regularly and stand for extended periods. Basic understanding of e-commerce logistics processes is a plus.
