This is a hands-on position that combines local driving, loading/unloading, warehouse organization, and general labor. The right candidate must be comfortable operating a 26' box truck , understand how to properly load and secure cargo, and have prior professional moving, delivery, or similar material-handling experience. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26' box truck for local pickups and deliveries Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Properly secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transportation Assist with moving large, heavy, fragile, and irregularly shaped items Operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Operate a forklift when required Receive, stage, organize, and move materials throughout the warehouse Assist with packing, wrapping, strapping, and preparing items for transportation Maintain clean and organized trucks, loading areas, and warehouse spaces Perform general warehouse labor and support the team as needed Follow company safety procedures and immediately report any vehicle or equipment issues Required Experience & Qualifications Previous professional moving, delivery, or similar loading/unloading experience required Previous experience driving a 26' box truck required Strong experience properly loading, securing, and unloading box trucks Experience using pallet jacks Currently forklift certified OR previously forklift certified with the ability to become recertified Active and valid California driver's license Clean driving record Ability to safely lift and move heavy items throughout the workday Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and performing physical labor Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Able to follow instructions and work safely around vehicles, equipment, and active warehouse operations Driving & Safety Requirements This position involves operating company vehicles and equipment. Candidates must maintain a valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Candidates must also be willing to submit to drug and alcohol testing when required under company policy, including following a workplace or vehicle accident or other qualifying safety incident. The company does not conduct routine drug testing as a standard condition of employment. What We're Looking For This is not a driver-only position. We need someone who is willing to drive, load, unload, organize, and work alongside the warehouse team. The ideal candidate understands that safe transportation starts with properly preparing and loading the truck and takes ownership of the equipment and materials in their care. Experience with moving companies, event production, fabrication shops, logistics companies, furniture delivery, trade shows, or similar environments is a strong plus.
