Temp-to-Hire About the Position We are hiring 1st Shift Packers for a busy metal manufacturing company in Orange, CA. The company manufactures corner beads, metal steel plates, and other metal products . This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position for dependable individuals who are comfortable working long shifts and overtime. Candidates must be willing and able to work 10-hour shifts and Saturdays as required . Job Responsibilities Pack and prepare metal products for shipment. Handle and organize corner beads, steel plates, and other metal products. Inspect products for quality and accuracy. Stack and organize finished products. Assist with loading and unloading materials. Follow production and packing instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures. Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Perform other general warehouse and production duties as assigned.Schedule Monday-Thursday:
4:00 AM-2:00PM Friday:
4:00 AM-12:00PM Saturdays:
Overtime as required 10-hour shifts Lots of overtime required Requirements Must have steel-toe boots . Must be reliable and punctual. Must be comfortable working 10-hour shifts. Must be willing to work Saturdays and required overtime . Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift. Manufacturing, warehouse, packing, or production experience is a plus, but not required. Temp-to-Hire Opportunity This position starts at $17.50/hour through the temporary period. After approximately 90 days , eligible employees may have the opportunity to be hired directly by the company. Upon being hired permanently, employees can earn up to $22.00/hour and become eligible for company benefits .Pay:
