WHAT DOES A MATERIAL HANDLER DO?
As a Full-Time Material Handler at PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, you will play a crucial role in our aerospace manufacturing process. This position involves operating a forklift and driving a truck to deliver both production and non-production materials. You'll be responsible for stocking shelves, pulling kits, and filling orders while maintaining accurate records and logs. Your duties will include reading work orders to identify materials, performing inventory transactions on a PC, and ensuring safe loading and unloading of materials. Additionally, you'll secure loads, convey materials to designated areas, and conduct cycle counts to verify on-hand inventory balances. Your role encompasses packaging end items according to customer specifications and maintaining a clean work environment.
