Job Description

The Sanitarian leads the organization's effort to develop and maintain its sanitation program in accordance with appropriate cGMPs. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining facility hygiene, chemical safety, SDS management, chemical inventory, and all documentation related to facility cleaning.

PurposeProvide support to the Sanitation Department in delivering cleaned and sanitary equipment.

DutiesThe duties listed below are representative but not all-inclusive. Additional job-related tasks may be assigned by management as needed.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all activities related to sanitationClean product transfer lines, UHT pasteurizing units, tanks, pumps, fillers, fruit feeders, and surrounding environmentsInspect equipment cleanliness and ensure it meets established standardsFollow all sanitation procedures and work instructionsReview chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as requiredPrepare chemical concentrations according to specified instruct
