About Copper Fit Founded in 1999, Copperfit Industries is a family-owned manufacturer and distributor in the plumbing industry. With a lean team and warehousing across North America and Asia, we supply plumbing wholesalers with a broad range of products—from copper and brass to PVC and PEX. We pride ourselves on responsiveness, product quality, and strong supplier relationships.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties including picking, packing, stocking, and operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials. This position ensures accurate order fulfillment, efficient inventory management, and a clean, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receives, inspects, and unloads shipments, comparing them to purchase orders to ensure accuracy Pick, stock, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently according to system instructions or pick tickets Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to move products and materials Load and unload trucks and containers following safety and weight distribution guidelines Conduct cycle counts, assist with inventory reconciliation, and maintain accurate stock records Label, scan, and track products using warehouse or ERP systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, shelves, and workstations Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines Support other warehouse and logistics functions as needed Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred Experience in picking, stocking, and forklift operation required (certification preferred) Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly Basic computer or handheld scanner experience preferred Strong Attention to detail, organizational skills, reliability, and teamwork skills
