Material Handler Yard Associate

Great work ethic, dependability and a "can and will-do" attitude go a long way towards dependable and consistent employment! Persons with strong aptitude and ability to learn operational process are most successful. Job duties may include, but are not limited to : Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard Load materials from Production line onto trucks for outgoing shipments Receive materials and organize and store those materials in the warehouse Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately Move materials within warehouse, to facilitate production. Pull and prepare orders for shipment, including packaging Operate forklift. Familiarity with various types of Fork Lifts, a plus. OSHA certification not required, but a definite plus. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and safety procedures within a warehouse. Must maintain safety practices at all times Relies on experience and sound judgment to accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Operate, or train on machinery, other than Forklifts, and be willing to work either job as needed.

Job Requirements :

Must have recent Fork Lift experience, a history of safe operations at previous employer in order to drive the Fork Lift Certification without on-the job-experience does not pertain Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required Recent experience and familiarity with RFID scanners

Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen Must be able to provide proof of recent, relevant work history, including at least 3 business references AND contact phone numbers from such employers. Must be reliable, responsive, and hardworking with excellent work ethic and positive demeanor. Must have consistent, reliable means of transportation.
