Job Title:
General Laborer Job Description This role supports an on-site technology operation by assisting with data collection using robotic rigs and basic computer systems. You will help ensure that equipment runs smoothly, data is captured accurately, and tasks are completed safely and on schedule during weekend shifts. Responsibilities Operate and monitor robotic rigs used for data collection according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Perform general labor tasks to support data collection activities, including preparing work areas, organizing materials, and moving equipment as needed. Use computer systems to start, stop, and oversee data collection processes and to verify that data is being recorded correctly. Follow detailed instructions and workflows to ensure consistent and accurate data capture. Inspect equipment visually and report any irregularities, malfunctions, or safety concerns to the appropriate team members. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area around the robotic rigs and associated equipment. Collaborate with on-site team members to coordinate tasks and meet daily production and data collection goals. Adhere to all site policies, security protocols, and safety standards while working on the client's premises. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in an industrial, warehouse, or technical environment. Ability to support data collection processes by following structured procedures and instructions. Comfort working around robotics and automated equipment, with a focus on safety and attention to detail. Basic computer operation skills, including using a mouse, keyboard, and simple software interfaces. Ability to stand, move, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods during the shift. Reliable weekend availability to work Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Strong attention to detail and ability to notice and report issues quickly. Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks and follow directions clearly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a technology, manufacturing, or logistics setting is helpful. Familiarity with robotic systems, automation, or technical equipment is a plus. Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment. Willingness to learn new tools and procedures related to robotics and data collection. Why Work Here? The role follows a weekend shift schedule of Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The environment is designed for technical operations, with standard safety practices in place and clear procedures for working around automated equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
