Job Description

VIVAS is a San Francisco signage company. We design, print, fabricate and install signage and large-format graphics for offices, buildings, retail spaces and events across the Bay Area — wall and window graphics, dimensional and illuminated signs, event booths and backdrops. Our shop is in the Bayview and our crews work all over the Bay Area. We are hiring two Installation & Warehouse Assistants . You do not need signage experience — we will train you.
The job has two halves:
you help our installers on site, and you keep the material, the tools and the van in order before and after every job. If you're looking for a trade you can grow into, this is the front door. What you'll do Load and unload the van: material, tools and finished pieces for each job Prep tools and material at the shop before the crew heads out On site: measure, clean, mask and level surfaces before installation Assist with installing vinyl graphics, window and wall graphics, rigid signs and dimensional letters Work from ladders and scissor lifts, always with training and supervision Clean the site, remove old material and handle waste disposal Keep the warehouse organized and the tools accounted for Take before/after photos and speak up when something on site doesn't match the plan What we're looking for 18 or older, authorized to work in the U.S. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Driving is part of this job: crews leave our shop in company vehicles carrying material, ladders and equipment to job sites across the Bay Area, and there is no comparable way to get that load to the site. Reliable and on time — this is the part that matters most to us Good with your hands, careful with details: you notice when a line is crooked Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet through the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation Comfortable working at heights — we provide the training and the safety equipment English or Spanish both work — our crew speaks both Experience with tools, construction, painting, warehouse or handyman work is a plus, not a requirement What we offer $25.00 per hour to start Full time, 40 hours per week Paid on-the-job training: vinyl application, lifts, ladders, site safety Paid sick leave under San Francisco law A real path to grow: Assistant → Installer → Senior Installer → Installation Manager Work you can point at — offices, campuses, public buildings and major events around the Bay Area Schedule and location You start your day at our shop at 2265 Revere Ave, San Francisco, and travel to job sites around San Francisco and the Bay Area in company vehicles. Some installations start early in the morning or run into evenings or weekends, when that's the only window a building or an event gives us. Overtime is paid at the rate California law requires.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

In person
