Duties Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure proper handling and safety. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order picking techniques and inventory management software. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Organize stock in designated storage areas, ensuring proper stocking procedures and adherence to trade compliance and international trade regulations. Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to prevent discrepancies and optimize warehouse efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following safety standards and conducting routine inspections of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; forklift certification is a plus. Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and logistics best practices. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock handling and documentation.
