Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate II, where your energy and expertise will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with overall warehouse operations, planning, and daily activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, safety, and operational excellence. Duties include but are not limited to:
Pulling:
Picking customer orders and transfer orders using RF Scanners. Printing part number labels and labeling stock items. Inventory counts for existing bin locations. General warehouse duties include stocking and replenishment of materials and finished goods. Ability to grab products off shelves with use of ladder/rolling stairs. Daily housekeeping duties in the warehouse such as sweeping and emptying trash cans.
Shipping:
Loading and unloading materials by hand or using equipment. Packaging and Domestic and International Shipping via USPS, UPS, FedEx and Freight. Create Commercial Invoices. Identify and use correct INCO terms for shipment. Identify Harmonized Tariff Codes and Country of Origin for International shipping File an Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the AESDirect system to obtain an AES ITN (Automated Export System Internal Transaction Number) Packing and shipping customer orders and transfer orders. Prepare Bills of Lading for LTL shipments. Identify and use correct National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) codes. Calculate shipment volume in cubic feet. Calculate shipment density in pounds per cubic foot. Fact check packing lists with actual quantity received. Required to lift heavy items. Daily housekeeping duties, keeping a clean and tidy workspace. Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Marginal Duties:
Assist in any other areas within the Warehouse as needed, including placing cardboard boxes into baler, unloading shipping conveyor boxes on pallets, and moving pallets into trailers using pallet jack. Assist with Production and Warehouse duties including unloading and strapping of cardboard bales from baler. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
3-4 years of proven Warehouse distribution
  • 3-5 years of international export shipping experience Must be detail oriented.
Knowledge and experience with inventory management systems Ability to take initiative and suggest ways to streamline procedures. Ability to envision and suggest various methods of achieving goals and improving workflow. Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as construction or logistics. Ability to perform physical tasks involving load & unload activities for extended periods. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments. What's next?
