Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and production operations by safely receiving, moving, storing, and handling materials throughout the facility. This position requires a reliable, safety-conscious individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to be trained in multiple areas of the operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, move, stage, and store materials, ingredients, supplies, and finished products as needed. Assist with material handling activities to support warehouse and production operations. Load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout designated areas. Verify materials and products against receiving or other applicable documentation for accuracy. Maintain proper organization and storage of materials in assigned areas. Follow established procedures for material handling, storage, rotation, and inventory control. Operate material-handling equipment as authorized and trained. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. Participate in required training and cross-training across multiple areas of the operation. Communicate material shortages, damaged products, discrepancies, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Work cooperatively with warehouse, production, quality, and other departments as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 0-2 years of warehouse, material handling, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. Reliable and dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as required based on company and operational needs. Willingness to learn new processes, participate in training, and accept constructive feedback. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Forklift certification or willingness to become forklift certified is preferred. Must demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety, food safety, quality, and company policies. PIa25ca5f4f5-
