Warehouse Associate

Overview Join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate, where your energy and expertise will support smooth daily operations in a very light work volume environment . In this role, you will be responsible for material handling, operating forklifts and other equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving activities as needed. Duties also include assisting walk-in customers by escorting orders to their vehicles and helping load items when required. Your attention to safety, mechanical aptitude, and organizational skills will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse. This position is an excellent opportunity to utilize your forklift skills in a low-volume setting while providing courteous, hands-on customer support and contributing to the team's success. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Receive and assist walk-in customers with placing orders and loading goods. Manage shipping and receiving activities by inspecting inbound and outbound shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper storage. Load and unload inbound and outbound containers and flatbeds. Conduct materials handling tasks including heavy lifting, stacking pallets, and organizing stock for optimal space utilization. Maintain a clean warehouse environment. Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all operations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Skills Proven experience in warehouse roles. Valid certification in forklift operation with demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely. Ability to unload containers. Experience and conformable working with steel yard ramp platform . Basic math and POS (Training will be provide upon hire). Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Minimum qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Must hold a current, valid forklift certification. Additional Clarification M-F, weekend as needed. Mandarin speaker is a plus.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
