THE CRAFTED SCONE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Bakery & Cafe Operations | Part-Time The Crafted Scone is seeking dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to support our warehouse location. Our warehouse is an important part of The Crafted Scone's daily operations. The Warehouse Associate helps ensure our stores have the ingredients, packaging, products, and supplies they need to operate successfully each day. This is a hands-on position that includes receiving, verifying, putting away, and organizing incoming inventory; preparing store orders; portioning and packaging bakery ingredients; assisting with inventory counts; and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. We are looking for someone who works efficiently, follows established systems, pays close attention to detail, and takes ownership of their work. Store Order Fulfillment- Receive and review supply orders from The Crafted Scone locations.
- Accurately pull and prepare ingredients, products, packaging, and operational supplies for each store.
- Verify quantities and products before orders leave the warehouse.
- Clearly organize and label store orders.
- Ensure store orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Communicate shortages, substitutions, or inventory concerns promptly.
- Help coordinate store deliveries and pickups as directed. Bakery Ingredient & Production Support
- Portion, weigh, package, and label bakery ingredients according to established specifications.
- Prepare bakery dry-ingredient packs and other production supplies.
- Follow recipes, weights, measurements, and packaging standards precisely.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy with every prepared product.
- Properly date, label, rotate, and store ingredients.
- Follow established procedures to prevent cross-contact and maintain ingredient integrity.
- Assist with additional bakery-production preparation as needed. Receiving & Inventory
- Receive incoming deliveries and verify products and quantities against provided documentation.
- Inspect incoming products for damage, quality, and accuracy.
- Unload, organize, and put away incoming inventory promptly and accurately.
- Ensure all inventory is placed in its designated storage location.
- Properly date and rotate products when stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain organized dry, refrigerated, frozen, packaging, and supply storage areas.
- Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
- Assist with physical inventory counts as directed.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock, out-of-stock, or unexpected inventory concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, missing, or improperly stored products.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain organized shelving and storage locations so inventory can be easily identified and counted. Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse.
- Keep shelving, workstations, storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers organized.
- Ensure products are stored in their designated locations.
- Break down boxes and properly dispose of waste and recycling.
- Clean and sanitize food-preparation and ingredient-packaging areas.
- Maintain clear and safe walkways and work areas.
- Complete assigned opening, daily, and closing responsibilities.
- Help ensure the warehouse remains inspection-ready and operationally organized. Food Safety & Quality
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and handling requirements.
- Follow proper handwashing and glove-use procedures.
- Maintain appropriate temperature controls for refrigerated and frozen products.
- Follow allergen-handling and cross-contact procedures.
- Ensure all prepared ingredients are properly weighed, packaged, labeled, dated, and stored.
- Immediately report food-safety or product-quality concerns to management. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is naturally organized and takes pride in accuracy.

- Previous warehouse, inventory, food-production, bakery, restaurant, grocery, fulfillment, or similar experience preferred but not required. Schedule & Availability Schedule will be based on warehouse and store operational needs. Team members may be required to work:
- Early mornings.
- Weekdays.
- Weekends as needed.
- Holidays or periods surrounding holidays based on business needs. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential because our stores rely on warehouse orders being completed on schedule. Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and carry products.
- Safely lift and move boxes, ingredients, and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work in refrigerated and freezer areas as needed.
- Use carts, shelving, scales, and other warehouse or food-production equipment safely.
- Perform repetitive weighing, portioning, packaging, stocking, and order-fulfillment tasks.
