$20.00 / hr Position Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a 2nd Shift Cherry Picker Operator / Order Selector. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized high-reach equipment to safely and accurately pick, load, and unload products within a fast-paced distribution environment. Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology, you will ensure smooth inventory flow, precise order fulfillment, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Equipment Operation:

Safely operate cherry pickers (order pickers), reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, electric pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to retrieve and transport inventory.

Order Selection & Scanning:

Accurately pull and prepare customer orders using barcode scanning technology and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Shipping & Receiving:

Load and unload inbound/outbound freight efficiently while adhering to proper labeling, documentation, and safe manual handling guidelines.

Inventory Control:

Manage stock levels, perform cycle counts/inventory audits, and update systemic inventory records accurately.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety:

Conduct pre-shift inspection checks, report maintenance needs or needed repairs promptly to minimize downtime, and maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and fall protection standards. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience operating cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, inventory management, RF scanners, and digital WMS platforms. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, fall arrest protocols, and material handling best practices. Basic arithmetic skills for verifying quantities, unit counts, and order audits. Experience with warehouse coordination or lead responsibilities is a plus. Physical Requirements Continuous physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 lbs unassisted) following proper lifting techniques. Comfort working at elevated heights harnessed within personal fall arrest systems in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
