Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Cherry Picker Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. Using your expertise with equipment like cherry pickers, forklifts, and reach trucks, you'll safely and accurately pick, pack, and organize products for shipment. Responsibilities Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols Select and prepare orders by accurately picking items using barcode scanning systems and order picker tools Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky materials with equipment like clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or Hi-Lo forklifts Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS), conducting regular cycle counts and stock checks Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to manual handling guidelines and heavy equipment operation protocols Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage of goods Perform basic equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, or similar material handling machinery Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving processes Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and materials handling procedures Demonstrated understanding of forklift safety protocols and OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse distribution environment is highly preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence!
