Warehouse Worker

• West Sacramento Area We are currently looking for a hardworking Warehouse Worker to help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently!

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for manually moving freight, stock, and other materials throughout our warehouse, as well as preparing and completing customer orders for a wide variety of petroleum products. Whether you're organizing inventory, loading and unloading shipments, or ensuring orders are packed with accuracy and care, your dedication and teamwork will play a vital role in keeping our customers supplied and satisfied.

Responsibilities:

Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks (package), forklifts, or other equipment. Stack cargo in locations such as transit sheds or delivery vehicles as directed, using pallets or cargo boards. Ensure product is safely stocked and stored in correct locations. Optimize space utilization. Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervisor. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain stock and work areas in a neat and orderly condition. Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship). Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store). Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily work tickets. Verify receipts against purchase orders. Advise the purchasing department of shortages and overages. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Shift In-person:

1515 S River Rd, West Sacramento, CA 95691 Weekends on occasion Overtime available

Pay:

$19/hr
