About the Role As a Warehouse Associate at Mountain High Appliance, you'll be at the center of our receiving and fulfillment operation — making sure appliances are received accurately, stored safely, and staged correctly for delivery and installation. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires someone who takes safety seriously, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. Our warehouse team is close-knit and hardworking — and they hold each other to a high standard while keeping things fun. What our warehouse operations look like today is not what they'll look like in six months or a year — we're growing and evolving, and we want someone who sees that as an opportunity rather than an inconvenience. What You'll Do Operate a forklift safely to move, stage, and store appliances throughout the warehouse Load and unload trailers — receiving inbound shipments and staging outbound delivery orders accurately Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify against purchase orders — documenting any discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory by ensuring products are stored in the correct locations and properly labeled Prepare orders for the delivery and installation team — pulling, staging, and verifying items before they go out Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures on every task Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies to your supervisor promptly Collaborate with the purchasing and delivery & installation teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment Perform other warehouse duties as assigned What We're Looking For Required Valid forklift certification or demonstrated forklift operating experience — certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds independently; heavier items moved as a team with appropriate safety equipment Strong safety mindset — you follow procedures, wear your PPE, and speak up when something isn't right Reliable and punctual — the warehouse team depends on everyone showing up and being ready to work Attention to detail — accuracy in receiving, staging, and inventory matters here Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks throughout the day Comfortable with change — our operations are growing and evolving and we want someone who embraces that rather than resists it A team player who can give and receive feedback openly and keep a positive attitude even on tough days Must be able to pass a background check High school diploma or GED required Preferred Prior warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Physical Requirements Regularly lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds; team lift required for heavier appliances Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the shift Ability to operate a forklift and navigate a busy warehouse environment safely Ability to work in varying indoor temperatures depending on season
