Logistics Manager FLSA:

JOB SUMMARY
The Yard Associate is responsible for onsite execution of all assigned tasks. Through daily coordination with the Logistics Manager and/or Logistics Coordinator, the Yard Associate will track and complete tasks to facilitate the needs of the logistics department. They will assist the logistics department in maintaining a high level of organization and an accurate inventory of materials and equipment present in the yard.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Core Duties /
Responsibilities:
Following the established yard map, move and handle equipment and materials to ensure safe, organized, and accessible storage Check in equipment and materials promptly after they arrive in the yard. Record deficiencies and any completed repairs. Fuel and clean arrivals as needed. Maintain an accurate and transparent inventory of equipment and materials present in the yard Operate select equipment such as skid-steers and forklifts Assist in safe loading and unloading of trucks and trailers under supervision of drivers and delivery-persons Perform basic monitoring and tending of yard equipment to ensure they remain fueled and operational General cleanup, including grading, plowing, sweeping, shoveling, cleaning, and wiping of yard, facility, equipment, and furnishings Removal and loading of all debris, garbage, or other waste materials Other duties as assigned. May be subject to overtime on an as-needed basis. Education /
Experience/Training:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred Knowledge / Skills /
Abilities:
Obtain as required
  • project specific and equipment operation safety training.
Must demonstrate punctuality and reliability Must be able to follow a checklist to completion
Physical Requirements:
FIELD % of Work Time Must have the ability to remain in a standing or kneeling position. 90% Must have the ability to speak, write and comprehend English language. 50% Must have the ability to lift tools and supplies, up to 50 lbs. 40% Must have the ability to hear clearly. 100% Must have the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach. 100% Must have dexterity to utilize and manipulate tools and materials. 100% Must have clear vision, or wear glasses/contacts if vision is obscured 100%

  • 1X Annual Salary up to $150K.
Eligible after 1 year of employment. An additional Voluntary Life Insurance is also available.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / TRAVEL
FIELD:
Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather: rain, heat, and loud noises. Infrequent travel to jobsites as business requires during scheduled work hours.
