Job Description
Water Treatment Operator - Position Overview We are hiring Water Treatment Operators to support water movement and treatment for oilfield frac operations. This is a physically active, outdoor role with long shifts, steady overtime, and clear opportunities for advancement. Core Responsibilities Move, set up, and retrieve poly pipe and lay‑flat hose Operate and monitor transfer pumps, generators, and related equipment Track water movement and job data using a tablet or iPad Collect water samples, perform basic testing, and document results Assist with spill response, containment, and clean‑up activities Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures Communicate effectively with crew members using radios, signals, and phones Support equipment cleaning, maintenance, and job setup/tear‑down Candidate Requirements Experience in general labor, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or agriculture Strong work ethic and ability to handle long, physically demanding shifts Mechanical aptitude preferred Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Consistent work history with no frequent job changes
Schedule & Pay Day Shift:
6 AM start — $20/hrNight Shift:
6 PM start — $22/hr Shifts run 14+ hours with built‑in overlap Five‑day workweek Days off rotate every three weeks (Fri/Sat → transition → Tues/Wed → transition → Sun/Mon) Significant overtime available every week Work Environment Report to the shop daily for safety meetings and job planning Travel with your crew to the job site Work outdoors on frac pads or across ROW areas Paid from arrival at the shop until return at end of shift Why This Role Stands Out Reliable, high overtime earning potential Consistent scheduling Active, outdoor work environment Full training provided (DOT, OSHA, safety) Strong team‑based culture Clear path for skill development and long‑term growth Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lupton, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
