We are looking for a dependable, organized person to join our small team in a combined warehouse and outbound sales-support position. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable moving between packing orders, organizing inventory, working on a computer, and making outbound calls to prospective business customers. This is not a commission-only sales position, and the employee will not be expected to close complex sales independently. The outbound calling portion of the job focuses on introducing our company, identifying potential customer needs, qualifying leads, and arranging appropriate follow-up. What You'll Do Warehouse and Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately. Assemble and package replacement-filter sets and other products. Create shipping labels and prepare shipments for FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other carriers. Help receive, inspect, organize, and put away incoming inventory. Maintain accurate product counts and report inventory discrepancies. Keep warehouse shelves, packing areas, aisles, and workstations clean and organized. Safely use movable stairs, ladders, carts, and other warehouse equipment. Help ensure that scheduled FedEx Express and Ground pickups are covered at approximately 3:00 p.m. Assist with returns, damaged shipments, and other order-related issues as assigned. Outbound Calling and Sales Support Make outbound calls to contractors, builders, property professionals, and other prospective business customers. Introduce Positive Energy and explain the types of products we supply. Ask appropriate questions to identify potential needs and determine whether a prospect is a qualified lead. Record calls, contact information, follow-up dates, and outcomes accurately. Send approved follow-up information by email. Refer qualified opportunities and technical questions to the appropriate team member. Follow provided call lists, scripts, procedures, and performance expectations. Maintain a professional, helpful tone without using high-pressure sales tactics. Additional Office Support Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers within the employee's training and authority. Enter and update orders, customer information, and other records. Monitor assigned company email accounts and respond or route messages appropriately. Accept customer payments and handle checks or payment information according to company procedures. Assist with Amazon, eBay, WordPress, accounting software, and other business systems after training. Help with general office coverage and other reasonable small-business needs. What We're Looking For Required Dependable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable making repeated outbound telephone calls. Clear, professional verbal and written communication. Careful attention to quantities, product numbers, addresses, and order details. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn multiple business systems. Ability to work independently while communicating closely with a small team. Ability to safely lift, carry, reach, bend, stand, and use warehouse stairs or ladders as required for the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to follow safety, confidentiality, payment-handling, and recordkeeping procedures. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional approved business errands. Preferred Warehouse, shipping, order-fulfillment, inventory, customer-service, telemarketing, lead-generation, or inside-sales experience. Experience with e-commerce orders, shipping software, accounting software, Amazon, eBay, or WordPress. Familiarity with HVAC, ventilation, indoor-air-quality, construction, energy-efficiency, or related products. Schedule and Work Environment Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Paid, flexible 30-minute lunch period. This is an entirely on-site position at our Longmont office and warehouse. The position includes a 90-day introductory period with approximately 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews. Compensation and Benefits $22-$25 per hour, depending on relevant experience. Paid every other Friday. Paid Colorado sick leave beginning upon employment. Company-paid holidays beginning upon employment. PTO begins accruing after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period. Opportunity to earn up to $500 per quarter under a separate performance-based incentive plan. Eligibility begins after completion of the introductory period and with the next full calendar quarter.
