Job Title:
Construction General Laborer Job Description This role involves performing a variety of construction-related general labor tasks, including operating silos, cleaning and maintaining the work site, and loading trucks to support ongoing project activities. Responsibilities Perform general construction labor duties as directed to support daily site operations. Operate silo equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures. Complete site cleanup tasks, including removing debris, sweeping, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Load trucks with materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement. Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate tools and equipment correctly. Collaborate with other crew members to complete tasks on schedule. Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with other construction-related tasks as needed to support project progress. Essential Skills Previous construction experience. Ability to perform general labor tasks in a construction environment. Capability to operate basic construction tools and equipment. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as part of daily duties. Reliability in following instructions and adhering to safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on active construction sites. Comfort working with silo operations and material handling. Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks. Ability to work cooperatively with a team in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based on an active construction site and involves working with silo equipment, trucks, and general construction tools. The standard schedule is five days per week with one weekday and one weekend day off, and typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work is performed outdoors and in site conditions that may include dust, noise, and varying weather. Appropriate work attire suitable for a construction environment, including sturdy footwear and any required safety gear, is expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Osceola, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
